Dr.Tewari completed his Ph.D at the Indian Institute of Technology Dehli, followed by postdoctoral work at the Technical University of Berlin in the area of fiber optics and photonics. He has developed a novel technique to design Advanced Optical Fibers based on “Spot Size Definitions”.
He is a former research, technical and business development consultant for RSOFT Design Group Inc. and Simphotek Inc. where he was involved in simulation and demonstration of several photonic structures such as surface Plasmon modes in silicon waveguides, simulation of silicon cross-slot waveguides, simulation of the carrier-induced index effects in a silicon on Insulator (SOI) ridge waveguides, simulation of electro-optic effects in Mach-Zehnder modulators, designing mode converter for silicon on insulator (SOI) structures, simulation of ARROW and hollow-core waveguides and modeling gratings using bidirectional BPM.
He has been the VP Technology at CodeSScientific since 2015, where he has collaborated in developing OCSim modules for design and simulation of modern fiber optic communication systems as well as the designs of mode fibers.
